“Andreas Bleckmann Rock-a-Nore

Born in Germany and having spent his career as a fashion photographer between New York and London, Andreas Bleckmann has been based in Hastings on the English coast since 2017. In this charming little town on the English Channel, he has embarked on an ambitious medium-format film project, sketching portraits of passers-by, fishermen, and tourists on Rock-a-Nore beach, close to his home. It is a superb series that has touched us with its local yet universal, contemporary yet timeless quality.”
